The latter include contracts between the council and HUD (1978-1979, 1981-1982); grant proposals (1980-1982); materials from a 1980 needs assessment workshop; CDBG documents (1975, 1979-1980); Ojibwa (undated) and Dakota (1977-1979) historical data; and files pertaining to the Indian relief program (1985), Mash-Ka-Wisen, a residential chemical dependency treatment center (1978-1979), the Minnesota tribes (1979-1980), the Red School House (1985), and proposals from the Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, Mille Lacs, and White Earth reservations, the Lower Sioux Council, and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
